Talitha Koum asks for prayer
Psalm 127 - A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain.
2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—
for He grants sleep to those He loves......
Jackie Sears, Prayer Coordinator for Talitha Koum, writes:-
“How amazing you all are! You must be praying because God is working among his people. We have been so encouraged that doors have opened, people have volunteered, organizations have promised financial support, companies have committed to support us, prayer team has expanded – and we have been given several scriptures to depend on! Thank you so much for all your prayers – and support. Your prayers underpin the project and give a solid foundation for us to work and to hear from our Lord as He directs us each day.
Please pray for the following:
- Firstly please pray for John, CEO and the staff team in the office. The work is ‘hotting up’ and the pressure is on. Jenny leads the office and is Johns PA - and Abi is involved with fundraising and deals with admin.
- Pray for Prayer concerts and road shows - please see website for more details. If you would like to come along and pray - you will be very welcome.
- Pray for Adrian and Yvonne, farmers, as the Lease for the Talitha Koum site is signed.
- The autumn will bring an influx of speaking engagements – please pray for the team – that their call to the project will be evident, and their heart of love and compassion will show.
- Continue in prayer for the Trustees – some of whom are ill at present. Pray for their protection and healing. Also for the tech team; operational management team; prayer team; Talitha Koum band.
- For the day to day management of the project: for insight, Gods direction and the resources we need, including FINANCE!
- I also need volunteers to pray for specific items and occasions. Please will you contact me if you can be committed to this work?
Thank you for those who are now part of the prayer team. It’s great to have you on board. We now need some people who would be willing to offer prayer ministry at events. We have prayer ministry leaders.”
