Details of Prom Praise Concert released
Prom Praise is a delightful blend of sacred and concert music, a unique and joyful fusion of performance and worship, combining the spirit of Songs of Praise with the world-famous Last Night of the Proms.
The Orchestra are thrilled to be coming to the Regent Theatre Ipswich, for the first time, on Saturday 19 November.
Soloists include husband and wife duo baritone John Langley and soprano Heidi Pegler. The Prom Praise Ipswich Choir will be gathering from all around the area to join the All Souls Orchestra in PROM PRAISE.
Guest speaker will be the Rector of All Souls Church, Hugh Palmer.
Local organizer, Peter Miller, says “Prom Praise has received great support over the years from friends in Ipswich, but 2011 sees the first ever visit of this popular event in the town. So we're expecting a good turn out!
Their presentation is not only of the highest standard, but is also inspiring, worshipful and well worth attending! The All Souls Orchestra has an outstanding reputation around the country, from the Royal Albert Hall to venues as far a field as Inverness, Belfast and Eastbourne, as well as TV and Radio.”
Tickets prices: £18, £15, £11 Tickets are available now from the Regent Theatre Box Office on 01473 433100 or www.ipswichregent.com
