Talitha Koum asks for prayer support
Jackie Sears, who is Prayer Coordinator for Talitha Koum, is organizing some regular prayer events in support of the work.
She writes: “We would like to thank you all for your prayer support for the TK project. The whole project needs to be under girded with prayer as we realize that we are in a spiritual battle. A weekly prayer meeting is held every Tuesday @ 9.15 am at Whitehouse Farm, Wash Lane, Witnesham, this is an open meeting for anyone to join us for intercession and to listen to what the Lord is saying.”

Prayer is particularly asked for the following:-
- Prayer concerts being held at various churches in and around Ipswich, commencing with Witnesham Parish Church 22nd May 2011 @ 4.0 pm for tea, followed by worship at 4.45 pm
- Prayer walk on the site on Saturday 18th June 2011, starting at 9.30 am with bacon buttie and coffee - and then dividing into groups to walk the 2 acre site.
- Witnesham sponsored Walk and BBQ on Saturday 11th June 2011, starting at the farm and covering a 5 mile circular route finishing up with a BBQ on the farm. Sponsor form can be downloaded from our website (www.talithakoum.org.uk)
- Fund raising events and fundraising team.
o Pray for events/Ideas/Inspiration to raise the funds needed.
o Pray for information to be disseminated adequately.
- That people would use the Talitha Koum website:
o Sources of information
o Publicity tool
- Finance/Gifting/Sources with integrity
- Volunteers
o Those with practical skills
o Builders; Bricklayers; Carpenters; ;Plumbers; General labourers;
- Donations of goods in kind e.g. building materials
- Pray for the Trustees, CEO and office staff: new trustee, Dot Cordle:
- Pray for all the teams in place
o Prayer Team; TK Band; Social Enterprise; Executive Team;
o Operational Management team; Professional building team

- For gifted people called by the Lord – to help the existing teams avoid burnout.
